Stadia Connect: (From AttackoftheFanboy.com)

  • RPG Baldur’s Gate 3 is in development and will launch on Google Stadia.
  • Stadia will be able to deliver game performances at 4K, 60 fps, HDR, and 5.1 surround sound to players with internet connections of 35 Mbps. It is recommended that Stadia users have an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps, which will deliver gameplay at 720p, 60 fps, and stereo sound.
  • Stadia will be able to be used on any TV compatible with a Chromecast Ultra, any desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome, and Google’s Pixel 3 phone. The service will become available on other phones later.
  • A ton of other games coming to the service were revealed, including Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, The Division 2, and Destiny 2.
  • The service’s various plans and prices were revealed, including the Pro plan for $9.99 a month, the Founder’s Edition set for $129, and Stadia Base, which allows players to just buy games without having to subscribe.

Microsoft: (From Kotaku.com)

  • Project Scarlett, the next-generation Xbox console, will be released for the 2020 holiday season. Halo Infinite will launch alongside it. (Reducing load times, solid state hard drive, 4x more powerful than XOX, 8K 120FPS)
  • Cyberpunk 2077 will star Keanu Reeves, and it’s coming out on April 16, 2020.
  • Double Fine Productions is joining Xbox Studios.
  • Xbox One is getting “console streaming,” aka remote play.
  • Gears 5 is coming on September 10.
  • There’s an all-new, redesigned Elite controller, called “Series 2.” ($179.99, on 10/28/2019)
  • Sega’s online RPG Phantasy Star Online 2 is finally coming to the West, on Xbox One and PC. Spring 2020
  • Tales of Arise is coming in 2020.
  • Elden Ring was officially announced.
  • Battletoads is back, baby.
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator is back, too.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is coming in 2020.
  • The Outer Worlds will be released on October 25.
  • Bleeding Edge, the new game from Ninja Theory, got a new trailer.
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps is out February 11, 2020.
  • Minecraft Dungeons is coming Spring 2020.
  • We saw some more footage from Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.
  • A Blair Witch game is coming on August 30.
  • Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, with remastered audio and 4K graphics. (Coming this fall to PC)
  • Forza Horizon 4 is getting a Lego Speed Champions expansion. This week
  • Lots of Indies (Spiritfarer, The Legend of Wright, 12 minutes, Way to the Woods, etc.)
  • Dying Light 2 coming Spring 2020
  • State of Decay 2: Heartland DLC available now
  • Lots of stuff is coming to Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass is coming to PC.

Nintendo: (From Kotaku.com)

  • The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in development.
  • Banjo-Kazooie and Dragon Quest’s Hero are the next two Smash Ultimate DLC fighters (Fall and Summer Respectively).
  • Animal Crossing: New Horizon for Switch has been delayed to March 20, 2020.
  • The Switch remake of Link’s Awakening will have a sort of custom-dungeon mode, and drops on September 20.
  • Cadence of Hyrule will be available this week.
  • Luigi’s Mansion 3 has couch co-op and an online mode. (Coming 2019)
  • Daemon X Machina will be available on September 13, 2019.
  • No More Heroes 3 is in development, and will arrive in 2020.
  • A previously untranslated Mana game is coming to Switch—twice. (Collection of Mana out now, “Trials of Mana” out next year)
  • Dragon Quest XI S: Definitive Edition will hit Switch on September 27.
  • Witcher 3 is coming to Switch. (2019)
  • Resident Evils 5 and 6 are coming to Switch. (This fall)
  • Contra: Rogue Corps is coming to Switch on September 24.
  • The remake of Panzer Dragoon is coming to Switch this winter.
  • The Netflix Dark Crystal series is getting a tie-in tactics RPG. (Coming this year)

  • Ubisoft is launching its own game subscription, UPlay+. ($15/mo starting 9/3/19, also available on Stadia in 2020)
  • There’s a new game based on roller derby – Roller Champions
  • Rainbow Six: Quarantine is the next Rainbow Six. (Early 2020)
  • Just Dance is still dancin’, and so is Wii. (Just Dance 2020 in 2019)
  • A new mobile strategy game called Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad will bring characters from multiple Clancy franchises together.
  • The Division 2 will be free to play from June 13-16.
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is getting Story Creator and Discovery Tour modes.
  • Rainbow 6: Siege’s next season, “Operation Phantom Sight,” is out tomorrow.
  • For Honor has a new limited-time event called “Shadows of the Hitokiri.”
  • Adventure Time is crossing over with Brawlhalla.
  • It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia actors are working with Ubisoft on a TV comedy about video game development.

  • Crystal Dynamics’ long-awaited Avengers game arrives May 15, 2020.
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake is still episodic, in case you were wondering. (Coming March 3 2020)
  • Final Fantasy VIII is getting remastered. 2019
  • Romancing Saga 3 is finally leaving Japan.
  • Saga: Scarlet Grace is also finally leaving Japan.
  • Outriders is a new shooter from People Can Fly. (Summer 2020)
  • Oninaki will be available on August 22, 2019.
  • War Of The Visions is a new followup to the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be out this winter.
  • The Last Remnant Remastered is available today on Switch.
  • Kingdom Hearts III is getting DLC called “Re:Mind.”

Bethesda: (From Kotaku.com)

  • Ghostwire: Tokyo is the next game from Shinji Mikami’s studio.
  • Arkane Lyon’s next game is called Deathloop.
  • Doom Eternal is coming out on November 22.
  • Fallout 76 is getting a new, free, update that will add NPCs.
  • You can try Fallout 76 for free from June 10-17.
  • And it’s getting a battle royale mode, too, because obviously.
  • Elder Scrolls: Blades is coming to Switch.
  • Elder Scrolls Online is getting a “dungeon DLC adventure” called “Scalebreaker.”
  • Elder Scrolls Legends’ next expansion will be available June 27.
  • Bethesda is still “hard at work” on Elder Scrolls VI.
  • Wolfenstein is going to have a big July. (Cyberpilot coming July, Youngblood coming July 26)
  • The Id Software classic Commander Keen is coming back.
  • Rage 2 is getting a new expansion, “Rise of the Ghosts.”
